A Weeknight Before Halloween at Majesty

At nine on a weeknight, Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-Sen runs along the outer harbour under a line of street lamps, and the lights of Sands across the road fall on the tarmac. Halloween is on Saturday 31 October this year, and if you want an evening of massage and rest at Majesty Spa without going near that weekend, the week before still has four weeknights, Monday 26 to Thursday 29 October. The evening can begin outside your own door, where our car will be waiting.

The week before

Perhaps that weekend is already promised to friends, or perhaps you would simply rather stay in on those two nights. Moving the evening a week earlier means it never has to compete with weekend plans. Majesty sits inside Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, on the first floor of the Harbourview Hotel, with the Sands casino across the road.

The lobby

Majesty calls its way of choosing a therapist the scenery line, which means that therapists from many countries stand in a line across the lobby and guests can see them up close and talk with them in person. Feeling a little stiff on a first visit is entirely normal, and you do not need to know any of the customs beforehand. Tell the manager what kind of massage you would like, and that is all it takes.

The fit-out

Among Macau’s sauna and spa houses, Majesty is known for the most lavish fit-out, and the corridor shows it. Ring lights are set into a ceiling of wooden slats, the floor is black marble with gold veining, and glass doors in gold frames line both sides. There are also more than a dozen carefully designed theme rooms, each dressed in its own way, and that page lets you see them before you come.

The session in the room

A room of its own, one therapist, one hour: this is your one-on-one session. We will leave the details for you to discover, though friends who have tried it say once is enough to remember it.

The lounge, after midnight

Once the massage is done, another masseuse at the lounge recliners can give you one complimentary add-on service, chosen when you get there. If you are hungry, the kitchen has steak and fried rice, and something hot before resting is easy to arrange. Should you not want to head home, Majesty also allows an overnight stay.

Before you book

Every price Majesty lists has its service charge and tourism tax folded in. The October 2026 price bands are on the tariff page. Only a booking through this site brings a free private car, with the ride back set up before you go. The same booking adds one free add-on service at the lounge, picked once you are there. All charges follow what Majesty Spa posts on the day, and a coordinator checks each item with you when you book.

What hours are the therapists there on those weeknights?

Majesty Spa is open 24 hours. Therapists are on the floor from 14:00 to 06:00.

Which add-on services can I choose from?

There are eight to pick from on the night: a back scrub, ear cleaning, a manicure or a pedicure, and massage for the head, legs, feet or hands.

By the small hours, Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-Sen has far fewer cars on it, yet the street lamps still line the outer harbour and the lights of Sands still fall on the tarmac. The glow that lay on the road at nine is exactly where it was, and only the harbour has grown a little darker. With the massage and the rest moved to the week before, the Halloween weekend stays free for everything else.
